This is precisely what the new BASF workspace embodies — a project where design brings together technology and nature, functionality and aesthetics, fully expressing the essence of sustainable development.
🌿 RECEPTION – the first impression
The main entrance area sets the tone for the entire space. Its minimalist yet functional style features a large reception desk — the first point of contact for guests and employees. Modern materials like wood and glass in calm, natural shades create a welcoming and balanced atmosphere.
Lighting is designed to be both cozy and professional, while the centerpiece — a chandelier resembling dewdrops suspended in the air — adds a sense of lightness and elegance.
CONFERENCE – where ideas are born
The project includes several conference rooms of different sizes, all equipped with modern presentation and video-call technology. Ergonomic furniture, comfortable chairs, and large tables ensure a pleasant working experience.
Special attention was paid to acoustics and comfort — each room features sound-absorbing panels in various sizes, colors, and textures.
These are not just meeting rooms; they’re spaces for brainstorming, collaboration, and decision-making. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, creating an open and inspiring atmosphere.
LOUNGE – a place for inspiration and reset
A space to relax, connect, or simply enjoy the moment. This area invites you to slow down — filled with greenery and natural light, it inspires creativity and ease.
The lounge features multiple zones: a large sofa and TV area for casual breaks or PlayStation games, a board game corner, and cozy nooks for private conversations. Flexible furniture arrangements allow the zones to merge into one larger space when needed.
WORKSPACE – a breath of fresh air
The main principle is openness, filled with natural light. Desks are finished in materials resembling real wood, and partitions between workstations include planters with live greenery — natural air purifiers that enhance well-being and create a healthy microclimate.
Suspended acoustic panels above the work area reflect BASF’s signature pattern — a symbol of connections between people, cities, and innovations.
Soft green tones and natural wood textures provide a calm backdrop that promotes focus and productivity.
KITCHEN – a cozy heart of the office
The kitchen is where the workday begins with the aroma of coffee and friendly conversation. Spacious and inviting, it offers various seating options — a long sofa along the wall, a bar counter by the window, central tables, and a lounge corner with armchairs.
A standout feature is the large wooden partition that can open to connect the kitchen with a nearby conference room, creating a perfect setup for events, presentations, or company celebrations.
COWORKING – freedom and creativity
This flexible coworking area combines professional focus with a relaxed, informal vibe.
A window-side counter, shared desks, a sofa with a city view, an acoustic booth, and a print zone allow for multiple collaboration scenarios — everyone can find their ideal setup here.
RETREAT – your personal moment of silence
Amid the rhythm of office life, this is a space to pause and recharge.
Soft chairs, soundproofing, and diffused lighting create an atmosphere of peace and privacy.
Minimalist yet elegant décor — light wood panels, greenery, and soft earthy tones — invite you to breathe deeply and find new ideas.
PRINT ZONES – function meets design
Essential yet often overlooked, print zones here become design features.
Marked by BASF’s signature colors, they stand out visually while remaining seamlessly integrated into the office layout.
AWARDS SHELF – a story of success
Shelves of varying heights showcase the company’s achievements — each award with its own place, together telling the story of BASF’s innovation, growth, and excellence.
